Andy Jones

Andy is probably the most successful person to come from the Shropshire town of Wem, apart from comedian Greg Davies.

Obviously this website is duty bound to state how good we all are, but in Andy's case he is nationally renowned and much sought after by other bands, having played with some of the top jazz musicians in the country.

Andy is a jazz and funk genius but is equally at home in the world of rock music. A man of musical principle, Andy once got into a fight with a member of Black Lace over the injustice of a world in which 'Agadoo' is probably more widely known than Miles Davis, which is definitely to his credit. I should add that he is not an aggressive man in any way, unless you're in a novelty band and have no discernible musical talent.
